Lady Barbara Judge

Lady Barbara Judge is the Co-Chairperson of Golden Horn Ventures. She is a US-trained lawyer, has an unusually broad, international career as a senior executive, Chairman and non-executive director, in both the private and public sectors. She has been a regulator in the securities industry in both the US and the UK and has held senior private sector positions in the investment banking, investment management, media, property, retail, insurance and energy industries, as well as in civic, charitable and governmental organisations.

She is currently Chairman of the UK Atomic Energy Authority and Chairman of the School of Oriental and African Studies (a member of the London University system) as well as Deputy Chairman of Friends’ Provident plc and the UK Financial Reporting Council. She is also a non-executive director of Private Equity Investor plc and NV Bekaert SA.

In addition, she is a Public Member of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants, the Governing Body of the Ditchley Foundation and a Member of the Trilateral Commission, among others.
