Mehtap Mae Ozkan

Mehtap Mae Ozkan is Founder and Managing Partner of Golden Horn Ventures. Mae brings over ten years of technology knowledge and startup experience as an entrepreneur and technologist. Formerly Mae has been the chief technologist, VP of Product Management, and Chief Architect of several start-ups and software companies.

Mae has also worked with major technology companies, such as Microsoft and Nokia, on strategy, technology and product development, specifically on web services, enterprise security, connectivity and integration. She has been a renowned public speaker in many major conferences such as Tech-Ed, Comdex and InternetWorld.

She has evangelized technology with the sponsorship of Microsoft all over the world, including US, Europe and South Africa, for many years. During those visits she helped innovative companies in those countries deliver new products. She is the co-author of the Web Services Implementation Guide.
